my life’s calling
worship director
Since 1992 (I was twelve), leading people in worship has been God’s calling on my life. Over the years I have been blessed to serve in a number of denominations and church contexts and, through it all, I have come to this conclusion:
Jesus is bigger and better than any of us can even imagine!
My worship leading is a reflection of this idea. I love worship that is eclectic and that doesn’t “fit” into any specific theological tradition. I’m likely too traditional for the charismatics and too charismatic for the the traditionalists — which is perfect because Jesus doesn’t fit into our boxes either:
He is bigger and better than any of us can even imagine!
music and liturgy for the Church,
not the stage
Most Christians aren’t members of “mega churches” and if they are, what usually keeps them there is a small group of people that they gather with outside of the large Sunday gathering experience. Most people don’t want to turn on fog machines and lasers and have someone yelling at them what to do with their hands when they genuinely are seeking to tune their hearts toward Christ. My heart’s desire is to write music for those genuine moments, for those genuine people. My hope is that the music will lead you back to your Bible and infuse the truth of scripture into your heart.
Feel free to use any of the music below as you see fit for personal or congregational worship/devotion. If you want to record it, send me an email.
More music coming soon…
